Biohazard Sharps Container Program

Collects containers of used needles and sharps from community residents who accumulate such waste in providing self-medical treatment and testing in the home. Pick up time and sites are: Community Hospital, first Monday of each month from 4:30 to 6pm; Saint John’s Hospital, third Thursday of each month from 1:30 to 3pm; Elwood St Vincent Mercy Hospital, third Wednesday of each month from 12:30 to 1:30pm. New containers are provided at these sites at these scheduled times.
