STATEWIDE MASK MANDATE
(Effective July 27th)
A statewide mask mandate will take effect Monday, July 27. This mandate applies to all Hoosiers ages 8 and older while they are in public indoor spaces and commercial entities, when using public transportation or other vehicle services, and in outside public spaces when it isn’t possible to be socially distanced from people not in the same household.

This includes schools, where masks will be mandatory for students in the third grade and above.
The governor will issue an executive order tomorrow that further details this mandate. There will be exceptions, such as for medical purposes, exercising and eating and drinking.
