Our mission is to help improve birth outcomes and reduce fetal and infant mortality rates in Madison County, Indiana by reviewing circumstances surrounding fetal and infant death and instilling community recommendations through creative means.

The Nursing Division of the Madison County Health Department provides the following services:

  • Childhood immunizations for kids who have medicaid, are under-insured, or uninsured

  • Adult vaccinations

  • Covid-19 and Antibody Testing

  • Tuberculosis testing

  • Sharps disposal 

  • Monitors communicable diseases

  • Outreach flu clinics

Sharps Drop Off:

M-F 8am-4pm

SCHEDULE:

Monday - Friday by Appointment

FEE: $10 admin fee for uninsured / under-insured

RECORDS: A shot record is recommended for a child to have immunizations

PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN: Children must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.  If the parent or guardian is not available, an individual over 18 years old may accompany the child and MUST present a note signed by the parent or legal guardian.
